Epcot World Showcase Les Chefs de France Proposal


Proposing to my girlfriend, Shelby, at Disney World's Epcot World Showcase. This is in France's Les Chefs de France, a great restaurant with an awesome staff. Kudos to all of the wonderful staff there. I'd spent so much time trying to set up various scenarios at many different locations, but shortly before our trip with her (our) friends I decided that a French restaurant would be the best way to execute the plan. Since I have learned a little French and she has not, I believed that I would be able to facilitate the process in front of her with the French-speaking staff without tipping her off, as she was already quite close to spoiling the surprise. Thankfully the waiter and I were able to converse at the table and disguise the celebration as a big huzzah for our friend Leanne's first time at Walt Disney World. As you'll see, the ruse held up only momentarily, but it was just enough to get the ball rolling. And yes, I was super nervous!
