Arnav and Khushi witness Aakash's proposal to Payal, at the restaurant. Khushi and Arnav intercede before Payal can give her answer to Aakash. Aakash is depressed by Payal's rejection. Arnav feels guilty for breaking Payal's wedding. Payal refuses to talk to Khushi about Aakash. Arnav calls up Khushi and asks her to meet him at the same restaurant to discuss bringing Aakash and Payal together. Khushi makes it clear to him that Payal has publicly rejected Aakash's proposal and that is the end of it. Arnav is irate when Khushi refuses to meet him and hangs up on him.
