Most Romantic Proposal Ever Onstage at Countryfest 2005.wmv
I worked with local Portland, OR radio station 98.7 KUPL for over a month in advance to get on the mainstage at the annual Countryfest concert to propose to my girlfriend Amanda. They had me sing on the small portable karaoke stage and then as planned, one of the DJ's came up to me and asked if I would sing on the mainstage between acts to promote the karaoke stage. Steve Holy was waiting to go on after Jamie O'Neal as we were waiting backstage. Singing the song "I Love the Way You Love Me" accapela in front of 15000+ people, I turned at the end, got onto one knee, held out the ring and changed the ending of the song to ask her to marry me...She said yes and the rest was just a whirlwind of people congratulaing us and women going..."Ahhhh". Yes ladies, there are still guys out there like that.... Is there any contest for most romantic proposal this could qualify for????...lol
