♥Ohio man stars in a commercial to propose to his girlfriend (VERY SWEET)☆
~to all my single sistas in Christ, hold on, your Boaz is out there!!! Click the link for a AWESOME SINGLES MINISTRY: www.youtube.com NEWS STORY ARTICLE: It's getting harder out there for a guy who wants to raise big public fanfare around his marriage proposal. In the media-saturated American scene, you see proposals turning up in newspaper ads, skywriting appeals and--of course--the venerable stadium Jumbotron. So how does a lovestruck beau make his offer really stand out? Why, he asks his lady to marry him in a TV commercial, of course. And that's just what David Jones--a Cleveland-based video producer, conveniently enough--did yesterday to in a successful bid for the hand of his girlfriend, Dee Horton. On Thursday, Horton and her co-workers at a Medina, Ohio hair salon tuned in to the midday newscast on Cleveland's WJW-TV. Jones had told her that he'd be portraying some sort of superhero in a commercial. But as she went about trimming a client's hair with one eye on the broadcast, she soon realized that she was the sole member of this particular commercial's target demographic. "A lot of people say we're living on love, like it's a bad thing," Jones said in the commercial. "How about you and I show the world what true love is all about?" He then pulled out a ring and proposed, and a few seconds later Jones emerged in the salon with a WJW camera crew, and dropped to his knees to propose in person.

Don't Roll Over My Heart
Don't Roll Over My Heart
This is how I proposed to my girlfriend, Andy. It makes it funnier to know that she's in a wheelchair (which we joke about).

My Proposal!
My Proposal!
I called my Mom a month ago and asked her to speak to my girlfriend about throwing me a "surprise birthday party" at my grandmother's house. My girlfriend worked on putting the "surprise" party together for a couple weeks. I told my Mom that I was going to propose to my girlfriend at this "surprise" birthday party. I had my cousin make up some signs that when held up by my family members in order would spell out "Will you marry me?" During the party, after my terrible acting of surprise, cake and ice cream, my cousin suggested my girlfriend go outside and take some pics of the kids. Meanwhile, me and my family were all getting into possition. When she came in I suggested she take a group picture of my family. It took her a second to figure out was going on, but she soon realized and I asked her to marry me! It was a great surprise that she was very thrilled with, and luckily my future sister in law got in on video!

Super Mario Living Room Proposal
Super Mario Living Room Proposal
My girlfriend, April, is a huge Super Mario fan, so when it came time to propose . . . **Update** Wow! 800000 views! Thanks so much to everyone who watched our video! This moment was such a special one for us and we're so glad to be able to share it with so many people! Q: How did you do the fireworks? A: There was a projector set up in the hallway to the left, projecting the firework graphics from the game onto the wall. =) Q: Did April and RW dress up as Mario and Peach for the wedding? A: LOL--no. We are big fans of the game, but that's a little too extreme--even for us. (plus RW is a hardcore Luigi fan, and April's character of choice is Bowser Jr...that'd be one strange wedding!;) We did incorporate a few Mario Kart themed things into our reception, for fun--you can see a few pictures of that in our wedding slideshow, which is also on the SilvasRW channel. =) Q: Doesn't Mario hit bricks with his fist? A: No--not in Super Mario World. When he jumps in the air (not hitting a block) he puts his hand up by his head (looks like maybe he's holding his hat on?) but when hitting blocks, his hands are down. Q: Are you sure April is really a fan of the game? She didn't even know how to hit the block! A: Yes--she's crazy for the game and has been playing it for nineteen years now. She wasn't sure how this very special block worked, and wanted to be sure she didn't make any assumptions before she went for it. =) Q: Are the walls painted like that?? A: No, the walls are actually ...

Surprise Engagement Proposal!!
Surprise Engagement Proposal!!
I proposed to my girlfriend on February 9, 2010. She was being held captive in the back office of her store until I had everything ready. My girlfriend and I met at Kohl's, so I found it fitting to propose to her at the store she manages. My buddy was nervous and was trying to hide since my girlfriend knows him. So the shot is a little off. My daughter joins us at the end. It took me approx. 20 hours to build the boxes and wrap them. I did everything myself with some help from friends and family keeping it a secret.

The Ultimate Band Geek Proposal
The Ultimate Band Geek Proposal
What better way for a band geek to propose to his band geek girlfriend? By using an airgram at a marching band competition!! The funny thing is not only does my girlfriend give away the guard equipment that was used to lure her to the track, but most of the people in the crowd thought we were either both students or a student teacher. Well, just to clear up any confusion, we are both students...in college!!
